Mediation Ordered In Dhurandhar Music Case
The Delhi High Court has sent the copyright issue over the song Rang De Lal (Oye Oye) from Dhurandhar: The Revenge for mediation.
The dispute is between Trimurti Films and Aditya Dhar’s banner B62 Studios.
Trimurti Films says the song uses music from Tirchi Topiwala from the 1989 film Tridev without permission, and they claim to own the rights.
The court felt the issue is mainly about money and suggested solving it through talks on royalty and payment. Trimurti also said the song was used in the film, promotions, and digital platforms without a license.
The film’s team denied the claims. Since the movie is already released, the matter will now be settled through mediation.
